Good friends, good food, good fun.

We opened for business August 1, 2008.  Before that, Glenn and I spent about three and a half months remodeling the interior of our building.  The original 1891 structure was built as a tavern.  During the remodel we uncovered a 12 foot high Victorian style tin ceiling covered by an acoustic drop ceiling, which we removed.  We cleaned and painted the tin ceiling similar to its original color.  The rest of the main floor was in such disrepair that early on in the remodel we decided to remove everything to the brick exterior walls and start from scratch.  It was a lot of work but well worth the effort!  My vision was to have the interior look similar to what it was when it first opened in 1891.  I think we accomplished that effect.

Since we opened we have been well received by the people of Sun Prairie and surrounding areas.  We have daily sandwich specials, a Friday Fish Fry and a Happy Hour.  We also sponsor Team Trivia every Monday from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
